The CustomDMX is taking shape...

My next product is slowly coming together. I finished creating EPROMs... and have recorded the resulting sounds off the DMX and Prommer.

This has been incredibly time consuming as you would expect. However the results are well worth the effort!

DMX vs Prommer...

I have been spending up large on vintage gear...

Oberheim Prommer ( 8 bit sampler and EPROM writer for creating custom sounds for the DMX)

Plus a couple of more modern things:

UBK Fatso ( This thing sounds amazing!)
Barker Assmaster Germanium. (Distortion!!!!)

So expect some new sample packs in the next couple of months. With some interesting combination!

Free sample pack Tape MR-16

It's been a while since I gave a sample pack away. So here you go... the Tape MR-16.

The MR-16 was Released in 1985. It has 19 drum sounds... I think they are either 12 bit or 8 bit PCM samples (not sure). They sound pretty LoFi but solid. I have done the usual tape treatment using an Ampex 1/2 inch valve tape machine and A Hitachi Cassette deck.
